Terms of Service

terms of service.

Last updated: April 28, 2026.

1. Acceptance

By using idiotagain.com (the “Site”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please leave. Continued use means acceptance.

2. Who we are

The Site is operated under the pseudonym “Idiot Again” by a private individual. References to “we”, “us”, or “the operator” mean the same thing.

3. The content

The Site contains opinion, satire, and personal essays written in the first person by a fictional or semi-fictional narrator. Quotes attributed to characters (Mike, Mom, Sarah, the dog from the first floor, etc.) are dramatized or invented. None of this is professional advice — financial, legal, medical, psychological, romantic, or otherwise.

If you do something stupid because of something we wrote, that is genuinely on you.

4. Intellectual property

All original text, design, illustrations, and the brand name “Idiot Again” are owned by the operator. You may quote short excerpts (under 100 words) with attribution and a link back. You may not reproduce entire posts or sell our content.

5. Newsletter

The newsletter is sent on a roughly weekly cadence — sometimes more, sometimes less, occasionally never. By subscribing you consent to receive it. Every email contains an unsubscribe link. Use it freely.

6. Affiliate links and disclosures

The Site itself does not contain affiliate links. Newsletter emails may contain affiliate links to third-party products; if so, this will be disclosed in the email itself. We may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you.

7. Comments and submissions

Public comments are disabled. If you reach out via the contact form or newsletter reply, you grant us a non-exclusive license to read your message. We won’t publish private communications without your consent.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Content is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don’t promise accuracy, fitness for any purpose, or that the Site will work tomorrow. We try, but we make no guarantees.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site. Where law prohibits this exclusion (consumer protection rules in the EU, etc.), liability is limited to the amount you paid to access the Site, which is zero.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights of your country of residence still apply.

11. Changes to these Terms

We can update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version here. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Contact

hi@idiotagain.com — for legal matters, takedown requests, or to politely complain about anything.
